Product details
A wooden height chart handmade by Little Miss Viking in New Zealand makes a great family keepsake and you can get your wooden growth ruler personalised for free, they are designed as a giant modern wooden ruler.
Our wooden height charts are family heirlooms in the making. They make original personalised unisex gifts for Christmas, new arrivals, christenings, first birthdays, best of all they can move house when you do. No more lost history!
By personalising them with a family name (rather than the child's), they can still be enjoyed if further new additions arrive later on. Being a stylish home accessory as well as being practical, the "Giant Rule" wooden height chart does not have to be hidden away in a child's bedroom or nursery and instead can be a centrepiece to the home in a hallway or kitchen.
Add a customisation to your family’s height chart. Add text going vertically up the right side ie.”Our Growing Family” or “The Smith Family Rules. Max size is 600mm long and approx 10 cm high text size may be shrunk to fit.
A great family keepsake, this pine height chart is the perfect way to keep track of your growing family. The wooden pine height chart is marked from 20cm to 200cm and is designed to be installed 20cm off the floor enabling plenty of room for skirting boards.
Other personalisations you can make to your wooden height chart are, changing from cm to inches, changing where the numbers start to avoid skirting or get more height, requesting a custom font for the the personalisation.
Top tip if you know anyone that wants a height chart buy them on the same order and it will reduce the freight costs
When you measure your family you must write onto the wood with a normal ball point pen or pencil. DO NOT USE A PERMANENT MARKER as it will run/smudge.
Fine tip Sharpie pens are sometimes suitable please do a test patch on the reverse side if you are unsure.
Personalised height charts will have the numbers placed vertically. All non personalised height charts will have horizontal numbers.
If you are not hanging immediately these must be stored flat.
When hanging do not place in direct sunlight. All boards are dried and stored before being turned into charts. Environmental conditions can impact the chart-
Do not place outdoors, in direct sunlight, in the direct path of a heater or heat pump. Very Moist conditions do not suit wooden height charts. Securing at the top and the bottom will prevent any bowing if placed in unfavorable conditions. The height chart comes with a saw-tooth hanger on the back that can be mounted on a 3m hook at 195cm off the ground.

All my family loved it 😍
Wow! We are so in love with our height chart. It is such a beautiful addition to our home, and my daughter loves to see how high she can reach every time we walk past. We combined our order with a couple of friends which helped us save on delivery. So pleased with our purchase. Good quality, and it came pretty quickly. Thank you!
Sturdy and well crafted. This is exactly what I have been looking for.
Awesome!
Good
Love it! Exactly how I thought it would be
Very nice. However the finishing touches are not quite there. The mounting bracket is not centred and is loose which means the whole chart is on an angle when hung and it wobbles quite a lot when trying to take height measurements. I think there needs to be a more secure way of hanging it than just that one bracket. Also a small chip at the top but I'm not too fussed about that.
Was what I was expecting when ordered
better than i could imagine! personalised engraving was incredible & pretty decently priced! arrived fairly quickly considering its custom too. going to look great in our home :)
Just unwrapped my parcel...well made. Lovely to see it in the house. Its going near the front door as a statement. Thankyou 😊

Perfect and excellent quality, just as described
Just what we wanted for the grandchildren.
In love with it.
Quick and easy. Love the result
Amazing thank you!!!
It was a pleasure to order online and not have any problems / complications. My daughter wanted the wording changed after the order had been completed and this was done without any problems. The height measurement was delivered in a timely manner without incident or damage. Well done you were a pleasure to work with.
Love it!
It’s the third growth chart I’ve ordered. Every time one of my children has their first baby I order one for their family. I’ve finally ordered one for us. As a Grandparent i can now transfer the markings on the inside of my storage cupboard door from my first child’s measurement in 1985 until now, on my own growth chart. This can now include me, my husband, my children and grandchildren. These growth charts are gorgeous. I would highly recommend this product!
Great quality. Cannot wait to put on our wall
Great quality. Beautiful momento to mark those precious milestones
We bought this as we had been writing the kids heights on our door frame ... but now we have to move house so this was perfect to transfer thier measurements over to! Excited to put it up in new house! Thankyou guys ❤️
Great product, exactly as described, would be great if it came with a paper template that can be stuck to the wall with painters tape or something to mark how high to mount it on the wall to make installation easier
I was really happy with the growth chart I purchased for a gift. It was just what I expected and well wrapped for delivery. Thank you
3time I’ve purchased this product to gift and it’s always been greatly received. Quality of product and prompt service is much appreciated.

A wonderful present
Arrived in 1 piece and in a timely manner.
Beautiful height chart
Good quality accurate measurements. Love the font I chose just wish it was bigger and stoped put more like the other fonts may have Some advice on what type of pen would have been great. Don’t use vivid. It doesn’t give a sharp line
Nana’s growing children, Going to be fun love it thank you 🤩
I absolutely love this. We have been recording our children’s heights for years on the door at the bach so nice to have it now recorded in our own home. I saw it at my friends house and had to get one too. So cool! Had so many raves already.
Wonderful addition to our wall. We’ve had so many comments, I cannot wait to pop our kids heights on it
